I love love love this look! From uber-lux Chanel, to the quirky stripes of Alice and Olivia, each take is equally sterling. There's something quite regal and powerful about the peplum, shows a tough woman, in the most lady like way possible. Yes it's true that the peplum makes some people shudder as a flashback from the 80's coincides with the mere mention of the word. However online shopping sites like Shop Bop and Net-a-Porter have too picked up on the peplum trend. Oh and then there's the "peplum" adorned by Kate, used to be Middleton now Duchess, from the Alexander McQueen Resort 2011 collection. And everybody knows that where the duchess treads, others always follow. The peplum has appeared in many a runway show from resort wear to autumn/winter rtw. Now I think it's about time we pep it up...

Romping the Romper

In one easy action of the old slip it and on, and voila, you're all set. The romper is defined as a one piece item of clothing, that is usually loose fitting and has shorter legs. Quite fittingly the term playsuit is often used as another name for this awesome garment. For a long day and night out on the town, the romper is the perfect fit, easily transformed from a smashing day outfit to a rock out evening stunner. Think of all the fun activities one can do with the Romper, no longer does a woman have to be restricted, stage diving anyone? The romper is most importantly super-styling, I can't wait to get my hands on all of them. One key note you should never act you're age when romping out in a romper!

Apart from a few hick-ups and some nasty encounters, the sights of Rome were truly something to behold. A tourist melting pot, where people flock to year-round, it's tough to escape the madness. Take note when going to Rome do try stay around the neighbourhood of, Trastevere, west of the river, where one can escape the mania and incessant flashing of cameras. Trastevere has a mass of awesome restaurants and bars to choose from as well as unique boutiques scattered throughout the area. Just over the bridge and off the main drag, you'll discover a fantastic and what I believe to be, authentic part of Rome. In summer, one should eat and drink all day and go sightseeing as the sun sets through into the night. By then the crowds have substantially subsided and the city proves to be even more spectacular, the details just seem to shine in the dusky light or evening sky as you wander through the cobbled streets. When in Rome... be sure to eat plenty of sorbetto, gelato and gnocchi (just to name a few) and quaff loads of vino and caffe`.

The Queen of Cool Ties the Knot

Kate Moss has married beau Jamie Hince and my oh my from these photos what an ultra stylish occasion it was. Kate, donning a gown made specially by John Galliano (raising a few eyebrows, in typical Moss style, as the designer is currently on trial in Paris) and Jamie in a powder blue YSL suit, what a glorious display! The veil has to be the crowning glory. A truly star studded affair for a truly star studded pair.
