Flora Fun in the Big Smoke

Yes we don't have the sea or the mountain so us "Joburgers"have to find our kicks in other ways. This flower stylist shop is an absolute treat. Wonderful displays of plant life and cute and quirky gifts - the pansy print garden gloves were my fave! Head down to "The Factory" in Norwood, which also houses  unique clothing boutiques, fabric printing, glass blowing, second hand furniture and charming restaurant.

A Soho Delight

"Jackson & Rye" for sumptuous steaks in oh so swell Soho! Munch in a dark and smokey setting with lazy swing tunes to wind down to. Possibly the best steak and red wine ever, with a whisky on top to sweeten the deal.
